NIC for VMWare ESXi 3.5

Hey guys, is there a NIC I can order on newegg.com that's supported by VMWare? I had an old Zonet Gigabit NIC laying around however it's not coming up on the ESXi server. I'm having a hard time matching up an Intel card with what's listed in the VMWare HCL.

Anything out there that you know works? I have some equipment coming in a couple of days I want hooked up to that extra NIC (Cisco stuff).

I had a dummy moment not paying attention to the "Processor" mentioned in the description which does match what I need.

Yes, that'll work fine. As a general rule, any of the Intel based cards will work fine (if they use the e1000 driver; from my experience the e1000e will not).

A gigabit PCI-E card might be preferable as they have a far superior bus behind it in case you're putting a lot of traffic through it, however in buying one of those you may run into the e1000e driver, so your choice is probably safest.
