anyone have any ideas on this problem?
See my sig for the PC setup.
I'm using cat 4.2's for drivers.

Whenever I'm running nfsu, in some spots it starts going outrageousely (sp?) fast...almost too fast to control or even SEE where you're going (kind of like running joust VGA on a pentium 133 when it's meant for a 386). Other times I get a *very* slight hesitation..almost un-noticeable but it's there.

I didn't have this problem on my old GF2 GTS (which has served me well, but now resides in a shoebox on the shelf), and this is the only game I have that gives a wierd problem like this.

haven't tried checking for a game update yet (at work  ) but everything else is up to date (dx9, xp service packs, etc...)

Well game updates are not "at work", they are already there, in 1.4 or 1.5 if i'm not mistaken, BUT they don't fix this litle "hickup" thing. This happens in all dx8.1+ cards.
About the fast speed, i can't help.

umm...you read my text wrong or I typed it funny. I meant I was at work, not the updates. :)
