I don't see any way of having a northbridge waterblock according to this MSI reference board. Anybody know of a NB waterblock that would allow for a 6800 w/ waterblock to pass in between the inlet and outlet?

Looks like the traffic jam already happened.

dont know why they dont put the memory across the top like the neoplat socket 754. and move the NB cause even on the k8n neo plat the card still covers up the NB.

Hmm... I was hoping for waterblock recommendations. Maybe people missed the text beneath the picture. =\

From the pic it is very difficult to tell if any block could work. The vid card will be directly over it. Its hard to tell how much room you will have to work with. youll need some exact measurements.

I'm sure there will be boards that don't have this issue. If you need to cool your NB and want SLI, simply don't buy this board.

Heh, looks like the Alienware SLI systems are watercooled.. with EXOS system it appears. Check it out:

Take this board instead: http://www.anandtech.com/showimage....views/video/nvidia/SLIpreview/motherboard.jpg

Any GPU block would seemingly fit in there and on the 2 cards.

For a reccomendation, what's your tubing size? If you're using 1/8" ID or 1/4" ID there are any of the Aqua Computer or Innovatek all in one blocks. If you're usign 3/8" ID or 1/2" ID, grab the Danger Den all in one block. If you'd rather not have an all in one, look for the Swiftech MCW50 and 6800 adaptor plates.

latest rage in tubing sizes is 7/16"ID as suggested by teh watercooling gawd Cathar ;)

Its not an intergrated Exos system. According to Terrance over at Alienware and a contact in Koolance the ALX system was designed by a team of alienware and koolance peeps.
