I took a RAID0 array I built on an nForce3 motherboard and moved it to a new computer with an nForce4 chipset (after backing it up, of course).
I didn't expect the newer chipset to be able to read the array, but to my surprise, it said "Healthy" when I got to the RAID BIOS during boot.
At first, Vista found the controller as an traditional IDE controller. I found some beta drivers for Vista, rebooted, and it's now being labeled as a RAID controller, but Disk Management still reports the array as two separate drives (one initialized, one not).
Now, I've read plenty about SLI being broken in Vista, but I didn't know RAID was broken, too. Am I doing something wrong?
