Hey guys is the XClio 450W ATX12V2.0 suitable for NForce 2's or more suitable for SLI configs? I'm pairing a Mobile Barton 2600+ on a Soltek 75-FRN2-RL and 6800nu with 2 HD's, 1 optical, 1gb RAM. Thx.

Well not really suitable for SLI....but will work for a Socket A setup. There may be better options. What kind of features do you want?

Not very picky on features, just something that will run reliably and support a modest overclock, say 2400 mhz or so, based on the specs given.

Hey thanks, both look nice. Figure the Turbocool has some power to spare while the specs on the AMS seem pretty decent for the price.

1% load regulation puts it is in a whole different class than that AMS. If the Turbocool is doable on price it IS the BEST option and only one you should consider.

You are indeed correct about the turbo cool BUT, he started out with the XClio 450W, which puts the turbo cool too expensive for him.

Sorry if you thought i was comparing the turbo cool to the ams.

In that price range, I'd suggest looking at a SuperFlower/TTGI unit.
