Hey, I'm sorry if this has been brought up before, I searched back a few pages, but I haven't been in O&C for a while, so my apologies if it has.

Anyway, I'm looking to get a Shuttle VERY soon (SN41G2 or SN45G) and I was just wondering what kinds of overclocks everyone has gotten with them. I've seen a lot of ppl around here with shuttles, so I'm just curious. Intel guys, feel free to let me know what you've gotten too. I know its not the ideal case for OC'ing, which is fine...OC'ing is not my main objective. I'm just curious what I might be able to get out of it.

On another note, anyone have opinions on which of the 2 models I mention I should get? I'm thinking the Nforce 2 Ultra 400 is worth it (sn45g) but anyone know anything bad about it I dont?

well I have a Biostar Ideq 200n. I was able to OC this processor to almost 2400. I have it running at 1.9 pretty low just because I don't want to bother with heat.
 
Check out my sig. I had it at those speeds pretty much from the day I got it.
I'm pretty sure I could go higher if it weren't for the bios limitations/anemic psu, but I guess there are ways to get around those issues if you care enough.
All in all, I love my Shuttle. :cool:
 
SN45G user here.

Barton 2500+ at 2.3GHz, 1.90V.

Modded to remove rear grille and adapted with external 120mm Panaflo M1A.

50C Load using the ICE + the Panaflo.
 
I had my 2500+ at 2.5 ghz w/ 2v

Have it at 2.2 @ 1.65 (stock voltage) since I don't really want to worry about heat. I care more about the noise than overclocking it a lot.

Be careful if you get a v2 sn45g! You do NOT want to adjust vdimm, it'll just lead to an expensive paperweight. V1 boards seem fine though... I'm lucky I got one:p
