I know that the p965 boards can easily use and operate with more that 2gB of memory, up to the 8 gB limit, and that with nV chipsets in the past it has been problematic to function well with more than 2gB (sluggish operation, bsod, etc)....

My question is: have these problems been cured on mobo's with the 680i?

No........ they haven't been cured as of yet. But maybe with new bios updates they will be one day...Hopefully:cool:
