Yes. Those are Opterons. Just because you own an AMD or Intel processor doesn't mean that you can't own one from the other company.

first off, i'd like to point out the name calling. a definite no-no
second, there seems to be some apparent.. confusion.. though i'm not sure where.
working my way backwards:

carnitine: indeed! i used to be an intel guy, believe it or not. right up until williamette and p4. then i switched sides, because amd offered a better performance/price ratio. right now, i'm definitly amd biased, but that's purely because i own one, and <3 my hardware to death. as soon as intel can get better price/performance at the time that i need to upgrade my rig, i'll go intel. simple as that

n64man: yup, any s939 board that gets the proper bios update will support dual core, be it an nvidia, via or even a sis board.
