My buddies NF7 rev 2.0 won't post, no beep codes, just constant flashing keyboard lights

system specs are

AMD 3200+ slk-900
radeon 9700pro
2x 512mb kingston hyperx pc4000
vantec stealth 420 watt

he tried using one dimm

then used some corsair xms 2700, same thing, tried clearing the cmos but that didn't help any..

any suggestions guys?

Take out everything you don't need. That means all the cards, video card, and ALL of the RAM. Unplug the CD drives and hard drives, floppy drives (this includes the cables to the motherboard AND the power cables), etc. Get it to where only the CPU, motherboard, power supply, power switch and internal speaker are hooked up. Then try to boot, you should at least get a beep for no RAM/Video card, etc.

If so, then start adding parts back one by one until it happens again.

If it doesn't work, then take off your heat sink, and make sure the CPU is completely seated in the socket. Lift up the lever, apply firm pressure to the CPU to make sure it stays down with one hand, and close the lever with the other hand. Then put the HSF back on and try again.

If it still doesn't work, try a different power supply.

If it STILL doesn't work, the motherboard's probably bad.
