Got me an NF7-S with a Barton 2500+ oc'd 2.0 ghz, 200mhz fsb. Ram is pushed up there too, 400mhz i think. 150 gig SATA, and the system runs stable in prime for 24 hrs+.

Under some specific disk access conditions(WinXP Disc Cleanup utility, for example), the whole system shuts down, and the board fires its warning siren until I pull the plug. The "temp over protect auto shutdown" feature is not enabled in the bios. Unfortunately, all documentation for this siren is absent. My only guess was it was the temp siren, but from what I can tell, all the fans seem to be operating fine, though I haven't actually watched them when the system freaks.

Note that the system was stable for about 4 months, then started doing this stuff after I plugged in a HD into the IDE bus a couple weeks back..

Also odd to note that Hardware Manager has a lone SCSI device installed under the "Disc Drives" heading, with my SATA the only HD I have.

36C to 38C under load. HD0 temps initially reported 33C, then nothing.
