No replys I see. I'll give it a shot, just a WAG though.
I suspect it won't work because USB requires drivers which load with the operating system. Therefore, it won't work when the computer is powered down.
Maybe you could try using a PS2 adapter for your keyboard? That might work providing a wireless will still send the signal with the computer power off. Hope it helps.

I think you misunderstood me. You are not attaching a cord to it.
What you need is a PS2 adapter, which you plug your receiver/remote (not sure of the name) USB plug into, then plug that into your PS2 port.
You do have something that plugs into the back of your PC, correct? According to the Logitech website, your keyboard should be capable of using USB or PS2 to connect. It likely came with a PS2 adapter (probably purplish colored, like mine was), which you use to convert it into a PS2 connection.
The keyboard is still wireless.
