My roommate is assembling a new computer with an ECS KN1E mobo, and we can't for the life of us seem to find a util on the driver disk that would allow us to make a driver floppy for SATA, or NV SATA drivers for that matter. The manual and website are no help either. Would NV sata drivers from another mobo cd (my Asus A8N SLI to be specific) work just as well, or do they need to be provided by the mobo manufacturer?

With the nVIDA controllers you don't need a driver disk (with XP). But the other controller is SIS 180 which would require a driver disk. You're drivers are here,
