NF4 NVRAID interoperability

Hi folks,

I'm running on an MSI K8N SLI Plat MB and am considering switching to the DFI board, but I REALLY don't want to reinstall everything. I am hoping that since my current board is using the NVRAID I could simply move HDDs over and the NF4 chip on the DFI board and its NVRAID controller would be happy /w the RAID setup...but I know RAID controller interop is often a major problem.

Anybody have any experience with this?

Thanks.

I wouldn't count on it. The only way I was able to get Windows to see the RAID on my DFI Ultra-D at all was to install the drivers during Windows set up.

I'm hoping the drivers will be the same, since the chipset is the same. I've written too much code commercially, so I guess I (should) know better. ;)

It should work the raid driver is the same for the controller, the brand of motherboard should not make any difference.
