Ya, well I'm sure that they decided to hold back the regular nForce4's so that they could make more money from the enthusiasts who don't want to wait, and will just buy the SLI board instead.

Same reason why Nvidia held back the 6600 series on AGP - so they could rape you on the 6800 series.

sli allows u to run dual video cards ... while the ultra series just allows u to run 1
