I've searched quite a bit online and have not been able to find an answer. My wife is wanting to save some pictures from her Facebook page straight to her Nexus 7. Is there any way to do this without using an external device? I've tried long clicking but am unable to really find much else.

Yes there's a way to do it, but you need dropbox.

Open the picture in Facebook, tap the "options" (the 3 dots)" then "Share". Now you select dropbox and it'll save the picture to your dropbox account. After that you can download it from dropbox to your N7. Use a file management program like Astro to move it to whatever folder you want.

Alternatively, dropbox can be substituted with Picasa, I think.
