I've heard nothing bad about the FP 241W that would apply to me i.e. I would not use it for console gaming at all (1:1 Pixel mapping seems to be the only real complaint). It seems to be the perfect monitor except it's discontinued. I was kind of *hoping* that this would be a direct, slightly more affordable upgrade to the FP241W.

Cuz the Samsung LCD\s are shit and the ones that aren't don't have the inputs for multimedia. You are misinformed.
