not much news on that front, logic says to just bump up the gigabytes (to around twice as much) and be done with it
 
Sorry guys, can't talk about it until we hear something from WD about it.

Best guess is that they will stay on 10,000RPM and similar seek performance, but move to 73~80GB platters and possibly a 16MB buffer. I'd expect it to be a SATA 3G ready drive as well, which will be the most important thing for WD to do before they can expand enterprise market penetration. We really can't say anymore than speculation at this point, so I'm going to close this thread.
