Well, I'm looking for some good games to play for fun. I'm sick of competitive games like CS 1.6 and CS:S and I can't play them for fun just because I feel the need to compete if I do play them. I was CAL-M in 1.6 last season and I really don't want to go back to 1.6 or CS in general (it's also addicting).

So, here are the games that I've played through lately.

Doom 3
HL2
HL2: Episode 1
Knights of the old Republic 1 and 2

What should be next?
 
Neverwinter Nights and the sequel, which comes out in a few days. Dark Messiah of Might and Magic is pretty cool too.
 
I've played Dark Messiah, the single player and multiplayer. I was a beta tester.
 
Oblivion, a racing game, Company of Heroes (can be competitive), Splinter Cell series, and Morrowind to name a few.

If you like shooters then FEAR is fun... I've also heard the expansion is awesome.

I'll second Rome: Total War... can be very addicting and you can set up very entertaining battles.
 
I'd have to say F.E.A.R too. Excellent graphics, storyline, etc... Scared the living shit out of me several times.
I found that playing a second time on a higher difficulty was still lot's of fun.
 
Try Company of Heroes, Prey, Condemned - Criminal Origins and Indigo Prophecy. There's a mixed bag of genres - that should keep you going for a while!
 
Far Cry for shooter and Psychonauts for pure fun ... both real cheap and worth playing.
