Nexenta auto-sync is slow

I'm trying to auto-sync between a production Nexenta SAN and a backup OpenIndiana SAN over a 10G switch with jumbo frames enabled. I'm currently getting <100Mb/s. Auto-sync is configured with compression level 0 and rate limit 0. Any ideas on what to look for to speed this process up?
