When ? And what do you guys and gals think we may see ? I can certainly see WD contuing the line,as its been very popular so far.One thing I have noticed of late,is that the Raptor series has been going on sale alot in the last few months,at various retailers / e tailers.

Is this the sign that WD is getting ready to refresh the series ?

When? I have no idea, I'd guess 2008, if at all. I would think that the raptor series will be the brand used for WD's performance oriented SSDs.

I dont think we will see SSD at a price point comperable to the Raptor series for a few years,in sizes that matter.To me,that would mean WD,etc,would have to sell a at least
64Gb drive for under 350 USD.Which I think was the MSRP on the X upon entry to the retail market.
