Hi Well I got a Seagate
ST3750330AS Barracuda 7200.11 SATA 3Gb/s 750-GB Hard Drive.
I been wanting to do Raid 0 for a while so I was looking for some of the same drives as mine,it turns out they are deactivated but I found one online from other world computing. So I ordered the drive which was the same model number as mine. Well I got an Email and it turns out Im getting a newer model which is the Seagate ST3750528AS Barracuda 7200.12 SATA 3Gb/s 750GB Hard Drive.
I called Other world computing to tell them and they basically said that Raid 0 should work out fine but I have heard the Raid 0 works better with the same harddrive.
Here's the links to the drives...The ST3750330AS

The newer drive....ST3750528AS

As you can see their basically the same in every aspect except weight and the power they use.
So Im wondering if I use this drive for raid 0 what will be the problems?...will it be harder to setup? Will performance be effected?
Thanks for your help.
