Newer cap profiles with older Catalyst drivers.

Good morning. I am using Cat 10.9 on my rig (see sig). I prefer older drivers due to compatability with the older games I play. My question is; do I use newer cap profiles with older drivers? Searching didn't provide any clues. Thanks.

you can. however those drivers are quite old. so they might not work properly.

Yes you can.

10.9 drivers are quite old, but for example the newest drivers available for AMD/ATI DX9 series cards is the 10.2 legacy driver, and I know for sure that you are still able to use the latest CAPs on top of those.
