Gaming mostly, some video transcoding. Web Browsing.

2) What's your budget? 1000.00 give or take.

I want to upgrade because as you can see my current system is long in the tooth.
I don't want to get stuck like I did with my old mobo and not be able to upgrade to newer chips if I can help it.
I will link to the parts I see now. Question is, can I get cheaper stuff and still have a good experience? Ex: do I need a 10k RPM drive? I am going to put only the OS on the SSD as I hear that is the best way to go about it.
Any help would be appreciated.

Several problems right off the bat:

1) The case is more for looks than for function. It is very cramped on the inside, especially from rear to front. The installed hard drives will block access to all of the major components on the motherboard.

2) That graphics card is a tad pricey for a GTX 560.

3) The SSD that you chose, although reliable, is getting a bit long on the tooth considering that Intel and other brands will introduce their new-generation SSDs some time soon.

4) As a storage drive, don't get that 300GB Velociraptor: It is very expensive for an HDD on a per-GB basis, and its average sequential transfer speed is actually slower than several 5400 to 7200 rpm hard drives on the market.

5) I don't recommend those Patriot modules for the following reasons: It requires a high 1.65V just to run at its low maximum speed (DDR3-1333). If you must buy such lower-speed memory, make sure that its voltage specs are not higher than 1.5V.

No more than $235. Any more and you're getting ripped off since the GTX 560 performs roughly the same as the HD 6870 which can be found for $220 to $235. That MSI is $258 shipped. Totally not worth it at that point since the faster HD 6950 1GB or HD 6950 2GB can be found for $268 and $280 respectively.

In fact, there's a combo deal right now with your chosen CPU and a HD 6870 with lifetime warranty that'll cut your costs by an additional $18:

Which would make getting the HD 6870 1GB $36 cheaper than the GTX 560. Unless you have certain apps that takes advantage of Nvidia's CUDA tech, you're better off with AMD if you want the best price to performance ratio.

The Crucial C300 series are also good choices for SSDs.

Since you're not overclocking at all, ZERO reason to get DDR3 1600 RAM. You'll be fine with this RAM:
$85 - G.Skill Ripjaws F3-10666CL9D-8GBRL 2 x 4GB DDR3 1333 RAM

Ditch that WD 1TB drive as it actually performs the same as this cheaper Samsung F3 1TB drive:
$65 - Samsung Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive

Ditch that case as well: The included PSU is a piece of shit and that case will not provide adequate cooling for a mid-range gaming PC. I recommend this case instead:
$50 - Cooler Master Elite 341 RC-341C-KKN1-GP mATX Tower Case

Yeah not gonna happen: AMD is planning on introducing new CPUs that will be completely incompatible with current AMD motherboards.

Any idea when the new CPUs will be coming out? Would it be worth it for me to wait?

I've only see Q3 2011 for the new AMD CPUs. Early April is when we'll see the updated/fixed P67/H67 motherboards hit the market.
 
All the Crucial stuff seemed too expensive for only 64GB drives.
I checked on the combo it is out of stock. Has the auto-notify button.
I guess I will try the Intel Drive.
 
Another question about the SSDs. If I get a 64 GB drive. Will that be enough for the OS only. I hear Win 7 can take up quiet a bit of space. I want to avoid running out of space.
Will I see the benefit of the SSD if i do not install my games on it?
