1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Gaming mostly, some video transcoding. Web Browsing.
2) What's your budget? 1000.00 give or take.
Are tax and shipping included? No
3) Where do you live? FL
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget?
case, psu, mem, ssd, hdd, video card, mobo
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing?
DVD-rom
6) Will you be overclocking? No I don't plan to.
7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have?
1920x1080
I may upgrade but not any time soon.
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
Next Week sometime. ( tax return !!)
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? etc.
I would like USB 3.0 and Sata 6Gb/s.
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license?
Yes Win 7 64bit.
I want to upgrade because as you can see my current system is long in the tooth.
I don't want to get stuck like I did with my old mobo and not be able to upgrade to newer chips if I can help it.
I will link to the parts I see now. Question is, can I get cheaper stuff and still have a good experience? Ex: do I need a 10k RPM drive? I am going to put only the OS on the SSD as I hear that is the best way to go about it.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
