Newegg = uh?

I have been getting a lot of problems with newegg lately as well. I am RMA'ng stuff left and right, I have a case that was shipped to me all broke to shit, I am sending it back for refund on case and shipping charges and no restocking fee. If they don't comply I'll take my business elsewhere. I have spent over $20000 with these guys in the last year and a half alone.

edit: NEWEGG ROCKS!! Every issue I had with RMA has been corrected, I recieved a total refund on case shipping to and fro and no restocking fee! A mobo that I had DOA that was only exchange for same item only = full refund!

I was actually starting to doubt newegg.. silly me.

Ive ordered alot of stuff too, and now I cant understand why they are being assholes about just sending me the wrong thing.

I know Im going to have to ship this video card to them one way or another... and I really dont appriciate it because its just going to cost me more to get the video card I actually ordered.

I cant really afford to ship it anyways... I lost my job and have no money until I sell this computer I just built.

Cheaper to just sell in on Ebay rather than pay the restock fee

I had a mobo from newegg show up DOA. I just could not get it to work. Well they were out of stock on any more.

I paid to have it shipped back and they credited the full purchase price and credited me $10 to my account on my next purchase. I bought a different mobo

Only time I have had to rma something with newegg. I was pleased.

Seems like they treat the refurbed parts different?

I had a mobo show up defective.. and as a matter of a fact i just recieved a replacement from new egg like 30 minutes ago... :).. i still have to see if ti works now.. lol

When you call, ask for a supervisor, those peon employees are like tech support, all read from the same manual. Supervisors at least have some sort of power.

I remember when the 9800NP to PRO softmod was hot....newegg just got in a shipment on sapphire 9800NP's with like 2.0ns memory and what not .... their pictures showed a red card with samsung memory and they shipped black 9700PCB's with hynix memory, sapphire sent them cheap cards and newegg refunded every single customers money AND gave them 30$ towards the next purchase of a new video card and refunded their shipping back. Now thats service you wont get at superocmpstore.com :p

I have had a few items go bad just recently and one (an Apple Ipod) i didnt have to pay shipping to send it back to get a new one and one I did (Bose Headphones). There are still a few companies that pay for return shipping, but I think that number is dwindling....

On Newegg, I think they have not adjusted to the sheer volume of orders/customers that they have had recently. It seems everywhere I turn there is somebody ordering something from them, and I have the feeling that the number of customers for them has increased dramatically over the last few weeks that they dont have the staff to handle it yet (supply and demand at work). That might be explaining why they have had a few more problems with shipping/RMA lately then before. Give them a month or two to adjust (i.e new employees) and then see if the problems start to recede and be the Highly Acclaimed company they have always been.

Zero

it being summer, people are getting off-time, people are getting their paychecks, aside from the sheer number of enthusiasts ordering parts from them for D3/HL2/etc....ide say they have a pretty good load. Thats not counting the business orders they get for 20 74GB raptors and servers, etc. thats why theyve opened 2 more warehouses in the last year.

You were going to put a refurbed card in a computer you were building for a customer?

Oh boy............

As for bitching about the whole $6 of return shipping, maybe, just maybe, if you shipped it back, Newegg would reimburse you, as many have said here that they do that.
