I ordered a BFG 6800Ultra OC and it wasn't working properly, so I RMA'ed it with Newegg. On newegg.com, my type of RMA is replace. However, when they send a email to notify me that they received my item. The RMA type on the email said repair. Have anyone ever RMA with newegg? Any suggestions what I should do?

Just hang back and see what happens. I'm sure you'll get a 100% functional product back no matter what.

You'll get another brand new one. I did the same thing with an MSI motherboard and they sent a new one. The say repair but you will get new.

Kick back and relax. My nephews 5700 Ultra I bought for them last year was faulty when I recieved it from newegg. I was under a repair ticket also. They had me a new one within six days from when I sent the old one back. Over a year later that card is overclocked hard and still kicking butt. Don't worry. Newegg is very trusted in their RMA process. :)

newegg does not repair anything themselves. And they arent going to waste your time to send it to the manufacturer to repair either, so you will most likely get a new product in return

With NewEgg "Repair" and "Replace" are the same thing and are usually listed as "Repair/Replace", with the other option being "Refund".

No worries, your replacement is on its way!

"RMA Type: Repair"
rattled my nerves as well. Figures [H] would get the google hit on that. I'll just have to wait and see I suppose.
