I got a 4GB memory kit (2x2) and one of the sticks was bad and one was good. Do they allow me to RMA just one stick or do I have to send both back?!?
 
Agreed. If its part of a kit they'll want the kit back.

As a kit you wouldn't want to keep one stick and match it later. If they didn't take both back you would want to demand that they did to send another matched pair.
