Could be a good thing but I did notice a slight rise in prices over a 3 month period. I'm not aginst this but I wish and hope they keep the computer stuff seperate on different parts of the site or something.

Newegg might turn into the walmart of online shopping hehe

im really happy they are broadening their spectrum of product, i have been shopping at the egg for years and try to buy anything and everything there, even if its a few dollars more just cause i have always been treated well and they usually get my stuff shipped out in the first day. i almost bought a small refrigerator from them last week cause it was on sale. i hope they continue to get more and more products, cause i would love to do ALL of my online shopping at newegg.

i dont see how someone can say this is the downfall of newegg, WTF? and your a little slow cause they arent just 'starting to sell' they have been selling those kinds of products for quite a while now.

NewEgg rocks I bought a fryer from them nothing beats fried chicken and CS:S. If I could buy everything from them I would I have never had a bad experience with them. Anybody who thinks NewEgg expanding is a bad thing needs get off whatever they are on.

The downfall of newegg selling other products would be the overstock then end up with, and the declining quarterly profits they will surely have when expanding into non computer stuff. They may become the next amazon, they have a great rack record in my book, but it comes down to supply, demand, and advertising. If they can get the word out and steal a lot of customers from say amazon (where i get most of my books), they may make it. But its not a sure thing. I wish them luck, but im not about to start buying books anywhere else than amazon where the zseller shops have such a huge variety of cheaper products without the hassle of ebay. Incidentally, zipzoomfly.com has great service, the same basic prices, give or take on each item, and free 2 day shipping on most items. I will stick with them and newegg for my computer products, but not just one.

hell yeah!!! i need a deep fryer and newegg's deals + fedex shiping = (y)
