Newegg Had E6600 in Stock for Seconds!

I have been refreshing the E6600 page all day, and it came up In Stock, and I placed my order and it went through! Then I refreshed and it's back to Auto Notify. I am gonna call them and ask about that but if it's really there I'm pumped!
 
I'm calling up Newegg now too see if that was an error or if my CPU will actually ship today...
 
yes, but since I made a little over $1000 on selling my old computer parts, and have spent less than $1300 total on this new stuff, I don't mind.

They just confirmed on phone that my order is now in Step 3 and already being packaged and sent to warehouse for pickup!

Damn that is the alot of price for just another CPU, which will be outdated in the next 6 months.

That is so damn lame. Not only are they out of stock instantly with an ETA of 8/14 they jacked the price up to 459 for an e6600! Unbelieveable. I am just buying an E6400...... Forget this e6600 madness.

Same thing the EGG has always done. Godamn price gouging.


I remember I wanted to jump on the 939 wagon when it had just come out, and the egg had the 3500+'s

the MRSP was like $300 or something, and the EGG listed them @ (you guessed it) $459.00 :rolleyes:

Some people would say spending more than $500 on a computer isn't worth it, to each his own.

Do you have raid 0 on your rig and how is it working with your 7950GX2? I've had problems with mine in my current rig and have heard sometimes the 7950 has troubles with raid. Thanks man.
