Newegg free mobo

Download the rebate form on new egg's site. It says a rebate of $35. So, either the form is wrong, or the $75 price is wrong. I'd check it with New Egg before actually getting it. Otherwise it would cost $40.

Read the whole rebate page the second page is an added $40.00 rebate to go with the first one ;)

Wish I had the need for one, and the extra to pay for it :D

Anybody know if Overclockix would have a problem with this board? Got almost enough parts in the closet, to put another rig together, using this board. One stick of pc2700 ram is all I'm missing. A pure folding box, hard to explain to the family, might have to hide it. Tired of paying MS every time I build a rig. Need some options. Anybody know where I can get a 4 port KVM on the cheap?

It should, I have never found any boards that any Linux variant can't find or make work, and it is based on Knoppix ( i think ) which is amasing in how it finds and sets up everything.

I have fourteen boards, not even two alike all running linux and I break them in by running Knoppix and a couple of workunits of Folding at home, before I set them up permanently

hmm...didn't see that there was a second page... :)

I guess reading the whole thing helps....

Free is certainly a good deal. :p

I've kind of standardized on AMD, and I've got a stack of 6 motherboards I'm implementing right now, but free sounds pretty good...
