I'm looking for a panaflo fan for my pc and I see that newegg doesn't even carry the brand. Well I'm ordering everything from newegg tonight so I'm wondering what fan will do the job for me. I'm looking for 60 cfm at 30db. I want a fan that will cool my 2600+ mobile at higher voltages but won't be too noisy. Thanks.

OK I'm done laughing, yeah good luck trying to find an 80mm or even a 92mm fan with those specs! Perhaps there might be some 120's that will do 60cfm @ 30db, but nothing smaller.

I agree. Maybe a big Papst will come close. I use a pair of 50cfm Sunons on my dualie's cpus, not to mention case fans, so what do I know from noise? This place sounds like an airport with Diana Krall singing at the top of her lungs somewhere out on the runway. :D

Panaflo 120mm, L1A runs at 68.9cfm@30db and the M1A runs at 86.5cfm@35.5db. Ugh, I wish I could stick a nice 120mm L1A/M1A on my CPU.. ;)

Heh, I used to have a Tt SM2... until I chopped off all the blades and the tip of my finger accidentally!:D

Yeah Papst also might be a good bet for 120mm, i'm running one on the blowhole of my comp, don't really know the specs as it was a pull, but it blows pretty good and the only noise is really from the vibrations it causes on the case panel.

Check out www.frozencpu.com and www.svc.com for panaflos. They both carry a bunch.

I can't speak for how good SVC is as an online retailer but I hear good things (check resellerratings too) but FrozenCPU is pretty nice, that and its less than 30 minutes from me.

glad im not the only person who did this

I've had quite a few painful experiences with fans but I haven't lost chunks of fingers. My most painful experiences are playing lacrosse day after day with problems that pile up.

NO way, SVC is great! I live 5 minutes away and everyone there is way too courteous to walk-ins.. bump for SVC! Awesome customer service and support.
