newegg.com is not selling e8400

Um isn't it obvious?

Delay in gouging algorithm. Still tweaking I guess? *shrug*

hehe other places like NCIX has been selling the e8400 since yesterday, makes you wonder WTF newegg is doin.

It costs 5 dollars more at zipzoomfly, but its newegg who gets all the blame?

The people who complain will buy it gouge or no gouge, so why bother complaining? you know its going to accomplish nothing in the end.

Supply and Demand does not equal price gouging. Ebay is where you see price gougers.

This isn't gas on a hurricane evacuation route, this is a new release item that you want to have the very first day, it's called a premium for having it now...

Solution to that is to reduce your maximum bid to counter the expensive shipping. That's what most people do in my experience. If other people are willing to pay more than you for the product then you can't blame anyone for that.

I've seen things on eBay that would cost $100-150 through retail channels, but they're wanting $25-30 for. But then you look at what they want for shipping and it like $200 or dollars. I just tend to move along in those cases. In fact, I usually just avoid eBay anymore unless it's something I really need and have no chance to get anywhere else.

That's not bad for the first day. I don't expect prices to stay high. Intel unlike Nvidia has an ample supply.

Give me some kind of basis for your random and blatant attack on nvidia?

Or be honest and tell me you bashed nvidia for no good reason other than you dislike them (for whatever reason).

After about the second week of the 8800GTs life, their was ample quantity available, and that really has to more with shipping and logistics than it does with supply.

Don't get your panties in a bunch about Nvidia. Have you even looked at my sig? It looks like I got a 8800GT that I had to wait for a while before someone got it in stock. I'm a fan of no company. I buy whatever is the best at the time. I had an AMD/ATI combo last time. Now I have a Intel/Nvidia combo. Next time I might go really crazy and get Intel/ATI or AMD/Nvidia.

Both ATI and Nvidia had supply issues with 3870 and 8800GT. It took me 3 weeks before my 3870 got to me due to backorder.

On that note when is the 8200 being released?
