I would definitely bite if I could get free shipping on the bracket. $6.99 to ship a $6.99 product is kinda ridiculous.

lol its the opposite for me, anything ive asked for appears on the next set of deals. good thing i asked for the xigmatek hsf bc i was going to jump on the ocz vendetta 2 @ microcenter deal
 
Well I'm tight on cash and have a $250 gpu sitting in my tower I can't utilize because my PSU isn't good enough. that of which I might add I purchased at the egg. The last month and a half I've sunk over $800 into the egg. A little kick back would be nice on a killer psu so I can use the 2nd gpu I purchased from them. But eh I may just return both and take my business elsewhere where I've seen better deals on nvidia 260s and 280s. These 9800GTX's run kinda hot and suck some juice. Well the one does. I have sli turned off otherwise the computer shuts down from lack of power. You would think 600watts would be enough and its in the recommended requirements also. Sigh

Thats a pretty insane PSU for the price. When I decide to drop the cash on a 280 this will be what I hope to go with. Right now I am on an 8800GTX and mostly play WoW...... not time to upgrade yet................ but Fallout 3 is on its way. Sniffle.


The corsair can pump it out as well. Its got a pretty good price tag on it as well.

The Corsair is the one I asked in the last deals post for a better deal on. That deal is for anyone. HardF should be getting much better deals like Tiger gives. Only downside is Tiger charges tax for many including me. :-( It just seems we had better deals from the egg in the past and they have dwindled down to free shipping or $5-10 off lately. I mean come on Gas $3.50+ per gal. Food is outrageous xmas is coming up and bills don't get any cheaper. Nice little cutbacks would be good for the minor amount of people that actually frequent these said HotDEALS posts.

yes the 14$ extra to use the S1283 properly is what has me looking at the Gemini2 or something else that has one included. It shouldn't be that hard to make a combo wtih that thing that costs 7$ more shipped. Its not that complex of a part.

If I needed on of these Xigmatek's I'd buy it without thinking twice. If you do buy one, LAP IT! Definitely have to lap these- my friend lost 7C after we lapped his.

Even though the Xigma doesn't test quite as good as the TRUE or Tuniq, it's still a monster. Nice buy at this price.
 
How about a great deal on a 780G AM2 motherboard (like the ECS 780G, Gigabyte 780G, or Foxconn 780G)?

Well I said I agreed ;) FrostyTech's dedication to "fair" testing is admirable, but it's still not "real world." And as you said, for the price... yeah. Mine's (Xigma) has been just great for me, just wish the fan mounts weren't such a pita.

Fan mounting is a pita on the TRUE too, especially if you have a fan with posts on the corners, like I did. It's an unreal performing cool jag fan, like 120cfm or something, but I had to bring out the hack saw and power drill to make the clips fit properly. Bah. If you're paying 50-60 bucks they should have a more intelligent fan mounting system IMHO.

It might be a tax free school stimulus weekend. Lots of stores are doing it for back to school, and where Newegg has a huge back to school sale, they may qualify for the temporary tax exemption.
