Sorry, I didnt know WHERE to post this topic, but I was just curious of the following.

Does FEDEX deliver GROUND on SATURDAYS?

I've searched around the fedex site and some places it says yes, some places it says no.

I know just about everyone has bought shit from newegg, just wondering if someone could chime in.

Thanks!

They do for a huge fee.

So since you obviously didnt pay for that option, the answer is no, they do not.

Fedex Ground/Home will sometimes do Saturdays randomly... unless it was just a xmas season thing, whereas Fedex Express will NOT deliver on Saturday, unless its for a large fee.

Fedex operates as two functionally different divisions- Express and Ground... Newegg typically ships everything Fedex "Saver" which is on the Express service.

In general Fedex takes off on the weekends and holidays, just like most people. :D

For awhile I think they were because they were behind around Christmas. I know I recieved a few packages on Sat in December.

I have never received a Fedex Saver on Saturday, there is a specific box on their form for Sat. deliver, which of course costs more. I'm sure the Sat. delvieries in Dec. were to keep the backlog down.

The USPS delivers on saturday. FEDEX and UPS only deliver on saturday if you pay out the ass for it, and at least for UPS will not accept a package for pickup ona saturday. At least my local counter won't. During christmas fedex and UPS will deliver on saturdays because it is in their best interest. They also do last deliveries and pickups later during the holidays.

Last time i called a FedEx rep she told me that they delivered on Saturdays in my area. It may be different in different areas.
