I'm looking to purchase the Samsung 710T tonight. Right now at Newegg it is $430 which is right in my price range. I don't want to spend to much more if I have too. The only thing is Newegg has a 8 dead pixel policy, and I don't want to get stuck with like 7 dead pixels...

MonitorsDirect has the 710T for $485, which is starting to get out of my budget. They also hav e a policy where if there is 1 dead pixel they will replace it.

I was wondering if anyone here has ordered a 710T or any LCD and has had a dead pixel from Newegg?

Samsung usually has respectable quality control meaning that, in the worst case scenario, you'll have 1 or 2 dead pixels. But most lcds coming out now don't have dead pixels, so don't be worried although it is a minor gamble.
