Newegg - 6200 SLI ready?

This came up on Newegg, note is says SLI ready and has the 6200 badge right next to it.



When was SLI supported on the 6200's???? and why would you want it in the first place?

No because these 6200s have Turbocache, look at the small white logo on the 6200 badge. Unless the regular 6200s can do SLI, of course.

Would be interesting to see what a budget SLI system with 2 6200TC and a ton of cheap system memory could do.... wonder if their is a price/performance benefit to be had.... maybe for HTPC usage...

stop saying sli is bad, my 6800 nu did 34fps in doom3 at 1600x1200 4x aa after i got another 1 it went to 56fps

If I could pick up a pair of non-tc 6200's, unlock them and run them in a SLI setup for less than $140.... I would. I have seen 6200's on Newegg for less than $70.

only a disciplined low budget consumer who's SLI literate would go with one of these cards.

The discipline comes from getting your second cards and feeling content you made the right choice.

...or maybe a stubborn person would do this.

oh well, I can't see this being anything more than 6600 performance with an opportunity to use SLI.
