My girlfriend is going to uni in a couple of months and was thinking about getting a laptop, mainly cos she needed a computer that didn't take up too much space and would be too hard to take with her. But after seeing the problems I've had with my lappy (overheating, inability to upgrade, battery dying etc) she was kinda going off the idea. When I mentioned how small mATX / shuttle computers were, she became interested.
So I offered to look into building one for her. Having only ever built full ATX systems in gaming size cases, I'm not exactly 100% sure what I'm doing.
Does anyone have any advice? I don't even know if shuttle size cases use the same PSU's as standard systems? Do I only have to get a mATX mobo, then the rest of the componenets standard? Are there any considerations as far as cooling I need to make? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
