Hi Guys,

I just upgraded my PC from P4 2G to P4 3G with an Intel D865PERL MoBo. After having completed the installation, I'm faced with 3 problems that I hope you guys can help me out with:-

1) After upgrading, the new P43G CPU is hot!! It is much hotter than the P42G one. I will be installing a temp monitor utility tonight but, is this normal? Pls share your experience.

2) One of the files Nvcpl.dll was not found when after I repaired my XP equipped HD. What is this file for? Is there any way of resolving the problem without re-installing?

3) After upgrading, some of the USB controller ports were not recognized. I put in the driver and MoBo CD form intel but no drivers were present. Which driver file should I be looking for?
Is it really the USB driver problem or due to another source.

Thanks for your help in advance.

well first off windows xp without service pack one doesn't support usb 2.0 so get service pack one, and about that lost file try a fresh instalation of windows, dont do repair or upgrade do like start from scratch or whatever

1) How do you know without running a utility

2) It's the Nvidia control panel....uninstall your video drivers, and re-install them.

3) Reload the latest chipset drivers from Intel's site.
