Newbie question about local admins on a domain

Hey guys,

Lets say that I have an AD domain where regular domain users users don't have permissions to install applications and change system settings while only local Admin user can. I want to have the same Admin account with the same password on all computers and I want to be able to change that Admin password as I please from an AD server. Is that kind of thing possible?

yes. make a security group for local computer admin, and just add that to the groups of the admin user

I always control the local Administrator password of workstations...never ever leave it "blank".

I set it when unbuckling the workstation, or..after the fact...can change it from MMC from the server.
