Got this card about a year and half ago. I plan to build a new rig and the mobo has 0 AGP slots and 2 PCI slots. So how do I know if my 6800 is agp or pci

they only made 6800's in AGP ... or PCI Express no pci , the highest pci card is a 6200

Going a little off topic, but I dont think the 6200 is offered in the PCI flavor. PCI-Express yes, AGP yes, PCI no.

Take a look at this picture, see how the gold connectors near the bottom are different, the top one is AGP while the bottom one is PCIe, which picture most resembles your card? That will give you an answer.

As to what the others are alluding to, your card is either AGP or PCIe but definately not PCI. PCIe is the replacement for both AGP and PCI. There is a huge difference in the technologies of PCI and PCIe and the terms cannot be used interchangably.

Hope that helps you.
