Here's what I did:
GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L


9 x *356

Voltage [manual]
*DDR2 +0.2
normal

normal
*CPU voltage 1.30v

*settings I changed in M.I.T.


Idle temps:

Running "Blend" in Prime95:

Running "Small FFT" drives the temps over 70c.

Am I on the right track?
Are these temps too high?

I didn't mess with the RAM.

Try x8 multi and a 400 FSB for 3.2.

Turn speedstep/C1E off, turn LLC on, set vcore to 1.325v and dram volt to 2.0v
 
Idle temps are higher than what I was getting with my Q6600, and from what I've read, you should be able to get below 40 degrees on all cores.

I'll have to check my records on the load temps, but yours seem about the same or possibly a bit higher.

I tried 8 x 400 just now but it blue screened as soon as I started Prime95.
But that is the only change I did.

I found the C1E setting.
Didn't find the LLC setting.
vcore I assume is the CPU voltage.
Couldn't find a pure DRAM voltage setting (at least it wasn't listed that way).

I need to learn more...obviously.
