looks to be down right now, but they have alot of information on emachines including oem bioses and jumper configurations. but id have to agree with lee that you cant oc becuase they probobly removed the jumper blocks from the motherboard, so unless you want to solder points back on its more work then its worth

Hey man welcome to hardforums:) , so yeah hey guy's i'm helping this kid out, I know that OCing an Emachine is not really possible, but if you have any advice plz help him out, he's a good friend of mine and I'ed like to help him, I told him that he would probably be better off making his own rig. That would probably be his best bet. But if anyone has any info on OCing a Emachine or something feel free to post. Thx

Hey what about Ocing a Celeron in general, do they OC well or what( supposing he could Overclock the the Fucking emachine)?:D

it might be easiest to use cpufsb and the IC chip, and just OC from windows. Why are you overclocking it anyway? (Why do you need the speed?) If it's gaming you should consider buying a new box anyway. The Celeron's are crap at gaming.

the t1440 had a celeron 1.4 in it if im not mistaken, you could probobly hit at least 1.6 with that, maybe 1.7. of coarse to do that youd need to get a better motherboard, something like an soyo sy-tisu, abit st6 or even an old 440bx board with a hacked slotket to get the tualatin to run on it.

i had a celeron 1.3 running on a soyo sy-6ba+iv (440bx) using a modded slotket i had it up to 1623mhz
