I'm looking into buying a SFF barebones off newegg. Quick question. How do you guys get away with running these power hungy vid cards off 250W PSU's?

my 350 can easily handle my 7800GTX - shuttle PSU's are have just high quality stable psus

My Soltek EQ3801 with a 300w supply handles 2 DVD drives, a hard drive, overclocked cpu, and my homegrown overclocked Radeon XT-PE...

It is not about total wattage but rather the ability to drive constant voltage on the rails. The shuttle PSU's are VERY good quality in this. They can handle anything and everything.
