I just started using prime 95 for the first time yesterday and have some questions about it. I read thru the read me files, but i still do not understand some things.
1. Under Options>CPU what do you guys use for Daytime/Nightime memory? I just want to use this for testing my overclocks, so is this something i really need to bother with?
2. I did a torture test overnight, so i let it run about 7 hours and had no error or anything, this is with no overclock though, i wanted to see if my newly built machine is stable. Is this a good amount of time? Also i thought i heard there are different levels to this stress test and that you need to turn that up to get or down to get a really good stress test on an overclock, am i wrong here?
3. How do i shut it off? If i exit out of the program or shut down my computer when i bring the program back up it's running it's execution again, or is not a big deal if it's running, i'd rather it not be like i said i only want to use it for testing my overclocks.
If you have any other suggestions for me that would be great. thanks guys.
