When installing a second 5870 to run in x-fire mode. Do they have to be an exact matched pair or will ANY pair of 5870s work?
Mine came with the ATI reference version and i and i cant find them for sale any where? I am expecting these things to hit close to the $200 mark after the 69xx cards come out as Newegg already has the sapphire version for $279 and $249 with a rebate.
At $200 or less i think adding a second 5870 for x-fire would be a no brainer way to semi-future proof my system..as we wont be jumping to DX 12 for a while and i game at 1600-1200.
Heck, i figure for the $200 upgrade i can probably stand to wait for DX 13 before making any further upgrades.
Thoughts?

(And for those wondering about a cpu to GPU mismatch, its an Icore 7 860 with blck to 160 for 3.533Ghz OC that tubro modes from 3.533ghz to 4.160ghz on standard voltage and the Ram is 8gig of (2x2 samsung generic 1333 and 2x2 G-skill 1600 that seems to run very stable at 160x10-1600mhz). Various benchmarks show me at or around the cpu and bandwith of a I7 965. The only other area for an upgrade might be a larger monitor that can do higher resolutions....)
