Important news for all you QuickTime users, a new zero-day vulnerability has been found. No patch is available yet so you should probably avoid streaming QuickTime from untrusted sources.

Apple's QuickTime is vulnerable to malware disguised as streaming video, and attack code has been published on the milw0rm.com Web site, security researchers have warned. So far, while the vulnerability affects Windows XP and Windows Vista, the jury is still out on whether Apple's own OS X is affected.

And this is another reason i will not touch shit from apple..

I approve this post. :D quicktime=poop

I'm not a big fan of apple myself. But how if this a reason to stay away from apple crap? All software has flaws found in it. If you think this is a reason not to use apple then you better not use any OS or internet software.

Now if they don't fix it after knowing that it exist then that is a reason not to use their stuff. But having a vulnerability alone is nothing new for any software.
