According to ATI Tool .25 beta 10 my default clocks are 600/700. Shouldn't they be 625/750?

600/700 are default 2d clocks, 3d clocks are 625/750, your card is fine

yes and no. indeed those are the right clocks
as soon as you enter an application it goes into 3d mode.
and a newer ati tool would be nice
