I am not in the loop of the naming of work units and points but for some reason I have jumped from 400points a day (1yr avg) to around 1000 without any system changes. Currently working on one called p3408_dpdp-ii GROMACS core.

Curious if anyone has any input.

Might be some of the new console WU's they were talking about. New stuff, but worth 1.5 more moints than the older WU's. :) You might've hit the jackpot!

According to this post the new bonus WUs have a 45xx designation. To date, I only processed one of these. I don't know what to do besides setting the -advmethods flag to receive them.

Only 4516 - 4521 as there are many other 45xx units that do not have these bonus points.

I didn't know there were other 4500 WUs. I'm getting a steady stream of 4400s but no 4500s besides the one I mentioned, which luckily was a bonus WU.

Yeah, I have completed 4 x 4513's and 1 x 4515

A good mini-faq for the bonus WUs can be found in their project description.

These bonus units are related to other 45xx projects but, at this time, only 4516-21 are the actual bonus units.

Thanks for the info. According to the link above I should be receiving these WUs with solely the -advmethods flag set, but it's not the case.

I would love to get a couple of these. One box just grabbed another 2613. :(

I have four 4519's under my belt. Would like to start getting some of the others. I probably will now that I switched over to [H]ardApe.

My 3.2 GHz overclocked Celery just got a 4520!

Code:
# Linux Console Edition #######################################################
###############################################################################

                       Folding@Home Client Version 5.04beta

                          http://folding.stanford.edu

###############################################################################
###############################################################################

Launch directory: /export/folding/jupiter
Executable: /usr/local/bin/fah5
Arguments: -advmethods -verbosity 9

26 hours to complete project 4520 (Run 32, Clone 2, Gen 5). 00:16:32 per frame

Linux 5.04 client, 996MB RAM available, 3.2GHz 331 Celeron-D (Prescott) with 256K L2 - benchmarking reports 1162

Arguments: -advmethods -verbosity 9

$10 says the lack of cache is killing the performance. :D

I'm wondering if the type of processor is making a difference in whether or not we receive the bonus WUs? I have the same flags set plus -forceasm and don't receive them.

Possible. I've had them so far on a stock 3.0GHz Cedar Mill, OC'd 331 Celery, and an OC'd X2 5000+. The AMD is my fastest box at the moment until I get my Quad online but the quad will be running the SMP client so it's moot.

Heads up for three new 'bonused' AMBER Core WUs coming onling in the next day or so: p4522, p4523, and p4524. See http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/fahproject?p=4522 for point details.
More info from Vince regarding his above quote:

Sorry folks, there were some problems with these. In the next few hours, I will be putting up three replacement WUs: p4525, p4526, and p4527. As before, see http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/fahproject?p=4525 for point details.

^ What kind of issues have the new WUs been experiencing?

He didn't elaborate and I haven't seen any reports of any of the second set of new WUs either failing or running. Me thinks they didn't quite make it through beta.
