Well after my Chenbro SR107 Project with HE120.2 i ordered an Lian Li V2000B for my new project. I wanted a PA120.3 but god damn they are impossible to get so i though why not try this new GTX480
. I got my eVGA 680i, E6600, DDCT w/MCP355 and Gigabyte 8800GTX here already so i am waiting on some more orders like the case, radiator, storm and soon DD 8800GTX full coverage block. Only this Thanksgiving is hold my shippings back for a bit - -
The problem would be where to mount this GTX480 monster and seems like with bottom of hdd rack or on top of the rack, both require cutting. My plan is to cut off the top 3 rows of hdd rails and put my radiator/fan on top of it and have the fans pull air up into the mobo section. The air should help cool some mobo components before it gets thrown out the exhaust fan. I got stacks of Yate Loon M for this and a Sunbeam Windmill fan controller for low or mid rpm, so we will see how this GTX480 does cooling mid end components.
I expect everything to come by Thursday 30th - -
