Just got this monitor and I am having an issue with it. This is my first LCD, so I am hoping that I am missing a setting somewhere. I'm running the panel off a 9800Pro via the DVI port w/ the 4.12 Cats on XP SP2.

All is well with the monitor in Windows and normal use. My problem is in WoW (World of Warcraft). Standing still it looks fine, but turning my view to the side blurs the image badly. Not just a little, but enough so that while I keep moving it looks like something is smudged over the panel.

Now I know all about ghosting and such, but I read many reviews where people have reported no ghosting whatsoever even in fast moving games such as HL2... I would think a 12ms display would be able to keep up with WoW and not ghost. I am running the game at 1280 x 1024, which I understand is native for this panel. I have tried different refresh rates, enabling/disable VSync, changing drivers... am I missing something?

Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to offer..I really got the display for WoW and it really is not showing it off very well.

I have the sony hs94p which uses the same panel as the 912b and WoW is fine on mine. There's a slight blurring when turning or moving rapidly just like any other game but it's hardly noticeable unless you're looking for it. Other lcd panels get it a lot worse than these two so be happy you have one of the best for gaming. The vibrance and sharpness over crts more than make up for the slight blurring with lcds imho. I use a 6800 gt with vsync enabled so it could be a video card setting you're missing or something.

I have both the 912b and Samsung 910t (25ms) and the View is only a little better than Sammy in blurring. Certainly not twice as good, it looks more like a 20ms to me.

That blur is normal. All lcd blur in games and will continue to do so for a long time yet. Until response times get to 1ms or less there is going to be a noticeable amount of blur.

Blur is there on all lcds. 12 ms is tremendously slow. These people who give reports of "no ghosting/blur" simply cant see it like I do (and you too apparently). Some people simply lack that ability, I dont know why. Be aware trying another lcd will not fix this problem, no matter how many people try to convince you their lcd of choice has no ghosting/blur. Get a nice crt. Spend half the money or less and have no blur.
