What will give the most "Bang for My Buck"
My PC is used mostly for games, like Halo, UT2003, Serious Sam.

Should I replace my CPU/MB/Memory or get a new video card? Unfortunatley, I can't do both right now.

I want to stay in the USD $450 price range on the CPU/MB/Memory set up and around $ 300 on the video. (I can't see spending more than $320 on a video card)

Currently, I have an Athlon 1.4 ghz OC'd to 1.533 an abit kt7a MB with 512 MB of SDRAM.

My video is Gforce4 4400 128 mb OC'd a little.

My thoughts on the new CPU/mb would be an Athlon 3200 barton, nforce2 chip set motherboard, and 512 mb Corsair Ram.

My thoughts on the video would be an ATI 9800 pro 128MB

Any Thoughts?

thats would i would get and that is what i did get :) although i've heard that the barton 2500+ was easily overclockable to 3200+ speeds on an Abit NF7-S V2 mobo, which it was, for me. Therefore, i saved money and went for the 2500+. the stock heatsink is what i am using to overclock that high too :)

The Athlon Barton 3200+ is a poor choice. I have never heard of an AthlonXP 2500+ that didn't reach 2.2GHz. Buy a 2500+ mobile processor and use the money you save on another 512MB stick of RAM. The mobile chips have unlocked multipliers, overclock well, and run cool. Also, the Abit NF7-S has been dethroned. Yeah, I have one in my current rig but if I were to buy right now, I would go with the DFI Ultra Infinity, by far the best overclocking Nforce2 motherboard.

I looked around to find a mobile athlon 2500 barton. I only saw the OEM version at Newegg.com. So, I would need a cooler.

Do the mobile athlons use the same coolers as the desktops??
If so, any recommendations?

Thanks
